As a past frequent visitor of South Africa and Rhodesia we can only be dismayed by what has happened to those vibrant nations in the precedent decade, since the takeover by the ANC/CPRSA (1) and communist Mugabe. I was on the board of directors of a company in Johannesburg as well as having a subsidiary of our American company in Randburg. We operated two distinctly different businesses; one was a tire importing business from South Korea (Sam Yang), the other was sales and distribution of the machinery we produced in America. Because South Africa had a very protectionist import policy we were able to obtain the only import license from the government for tiers with the exclusive riders that our South African partner be black, and that we must train this company and its staff to be self sufficient. In just five years they had become very wealthy individuals. Our association with RSA and Rhodesia was the previous 20 years of white rule. Most of my RSA business associates have departed to England, Australia, Canada and other places; many Rhodesian friends have lost their farms and lives. As a result of the engineering of this political change by the British government, a majority of Rhodesians now called Zimbabwe is starving, while the standard of living has plummeted in both nations.

The fact that blacks are unable rule in a 21st century state is undeniable. There is not one success story in the entire sorry lot. From Haiti to Nigeria, from Zimbabwe (2) to Ethiopia every country ruled by blacks is an economic basket case. This is not a racist statement is simply fact. Considering that, God endowed Zimbabwe, and South Africa and Nigeria with natural recourses far beyond anyone else leaves one breathless. In a few short years the ANC and their communist associates have successfully destroyed the wealthiest economies on the African continent.

Their prime objectives they claim are to make blacks as wealthy as were whites under white rule. To accomplish this they began by instituting the worlds most generous welfare system to the point where presently over 17% of the entire population is on government dole. In fact blacks that never contributed to the economy, paid no taxes, and produced nothing are entitled. South Africa now has 27.5 million voters, and 4.6 million taxpayers. Whites that graduated HS are unable to attend university because the places are reserved for blacks. The majority of white teenagers are laving the country realizing that they have been marginalized. One of my friends a fourth generation South African has sent all his children overseas, to prevent the girls from being raped, and the boys from being murdered. Crime has mushroomed to the point where South Africa has the dubious distinction of being the world's rape and murder capital. While all this continues Nelson Mandela is idolized by the media and held forward as a role model for other African states.

Remaining operating companies in South Africa, none remain in Zimbabwe, are forced by the government to hire incompetent blacks in order to give the appearance of black management, most of these at exorbitant salaries.

The basic accomplishment of the ANC has been to replace the management of the state that was in the hands of competent while managers with black flunkies of the ANC that have not only demonstrated gross incompetence, but also massive fraud of government funds. Police agencies have deteriorated to the point where they have become unnecessary particularly when the crime is committed by a black against a white. Winnie Mandela who was instrumental in the torture and murder of numerous black is held forward as "the mother of our nation" by the ANC.

Another ANC policy has been to follow the example of Zimbabwe's Mugabe (3) in breaking up white owned farms and giving the land to blacks. In Zimbabwe that has resulted in turning the once largest food exporter on the African continent into one of the largest food importers. Many thousands of Zimbabwe's citizens are starving at present. This has not deterred the ANC by any means; they are progressing at full tilt in this proven failure. Just less than 2 million acres of farmland has been so taken over with the predictable result that it has become fallow or turned into squatter's camps. In one year of the early 90's this program resulted in a loss of about 22% labor loss in the agrarian sector this is a nation that has an unemployment rate of over 40%. It is the plan of the RSA ANC and CPRSA government to force farmers to give up an additional 30% of their land by 2010 this will mean that by that time South Africa will also become a food importer, the ANC will have accomplished the total destruction of the RSA agrarian industry, as they have already done to its industrial capacity. South Africa's military that once held the Cubans at bay, and was the most advanced on the continent with even nuclear capability could today be defeated by a well equipped boy scout troop. The RSA air force is unable to launch a single wing.

Not to be left out is the fact that foreign investments in South Africa have diminished to the point where they are inconsequential in their impact on the economy. Furthermore the South African Securities Exchange is shrinking at a rate of 30% every five years. By 2010 there will cease to be a South African stock market.

The point of my short article is that blacks were ten times better off under white rule than they are under black rule. The childish notion that voting, is more important than prosperity, personal safety and eating three meals a day is the construct of liberal communists and academicians. This situation is repeated in every previous colony of the entire African continent. All of them were better off under white rule than left to their own devices.
